FLAGSHIP DINING SERVICE - SEVEN PIECE PLACE SETTING
THIS TEN PIECE SET INCLUDES  THE FAMOUS KNIFE, FORK AND SPOON WITH THE HANDLES MOLDED INTO THE SHAPE OF THE NOSE OF THE DC-3. tHE SERVING INCLUDES A SWID-POWELL DINNER DISH, DEMI-TASSE CUP AND SAUCER, SALID PLATE, SALT/PERRER SHAKERS AND A NAPKIN RING ENGRAVED. THE CHINA WAS ACTUALLY NOT USED ON THE DC-3, BUT ON LATER MODELS.
AMERICAN AIRLINES TEN PIECE SERVING
THIS BEAUTIFUL ART DECO STYLE FLATWARE SERVICE CONSISTS OF A KNIFE, FORK AND SPOON. THE SILVER PLATED HANDLES OF ALL THREE ARE IN THE FORM OF THE DC AIRCRAFT FUSELAGE. ENCISED IN THE SILVER AIRPLANE HANDLES ARE BOTH THE AA FLAGSHIP LOGO AND THE WORD “FLAGSHIP”. ON THE BACK OF ALL THREE HANDLES THE WORDS INTERNATIONAL SILVER COMPANY IS INCISED.THE  7” LONG KNIFE, 5-1/2” LONG FORK AND 5” LONG SPOON ALL APPEAR TO BE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH VERY SMALL DENTS AND SOME LIGHT NORMAL WEAR TO THE PLATING. All ARE IN ORIGINAL CONDITION, NO RESTORATION, AND NO RE-PLATING. THESE ARE UNIQUE AMERICAN AIRLINES COLLECTIBLES.
