The mission of the DC-3/Dakota Historical Society is to provide an accurate history of the C-47 Dakota and its civilian version, the Douglas DC-3. The DC-3/Dakota Historical Society will serve the aviation community by using credentialed aviation historians to act as a resource center for all things related to aeronautics of the DC-3/C-47/Dakota.We are the oldest (Established in 1994) and most trusted DC-3 website on the Internet.
